Ponycob has been beautifully converted, but its history whispers through the vaulted ceilings, traditional oak beams and the warmth of the solid oak floors.
The open-plan living area is spacious but wonderfully cosy, featuring luxury Ekornes reclining furniture and a Smart TV. The dual-aspect log burner will be laid to light for your arrival, with a basket of logs and firelighters to use during your stay – reconnect, entertain and relax with your much-loved family and friends while the warming embers flicker and glow as the night draws in. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay a Ponycob Cottage.
I have not slept as well as this in years. The nights are so quiet, light pollution is non existent, there are clever black out screens and the beds are super comfortable. I slept through every night which is unheard of for me.
The place was also great for our 2 dogs which was a key priority for us. There are plenty of great walks in the area and a useful, good sized exercise area for quick visits.
Apart from the that the property and hosts were really excellent in every way. Location, inventory, facilities all fantastic.
There are loads of gorgeous secluded coves and little village seaside towns. We loved Llangranog, which is close by and had a great pub and cafe.

We stayed in Ponycob cottage and had a wonderful idyllic stay. The cottage was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We had some little extras left which were very appreciated especially the milk so we could have a cuppa. Each morning we woke up to the beautiful view of the duck pond in front of us and would have breakfast outside while watching the goings on of the ducks and Guinea Fowl. The dogs had their own little package left for them too the towel was very much needed. The enclosed dog walking field was excellent and very safe for our 2 to go mad in. We enjoyed many walks in the area and there are plenty of very dog friendly beaches also. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for being great hosts we look forward to coming back. Ponycob offers two beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms for an adult-only holiday in the UK, each designed with your comfort in mind. The master bedroom features a luxurious king-size oak bed, draped in deluxe feather bedding and hotel-quality linens while the pocket-sprung and tufted mattress with a topper ensures a restful night’s sleep amongst our quiet surroundings.
The second bedroom can be set as a super king or two singles, depending on your preference – perfect if you’re holidaying with friends or siblings.
